Just bought my second battery from Ping. My bikes will go 40 miles on a charge. That's more than I thought I would get. The batteries just work great.
Support is top notch. Every question I had was answered completely. Ping is very friendly and patient.
Ping batteries were recommended to me by a friend that said that he had purchased bad batteries in the past but he had never purchased a bad battery from Ping. That's been my experience so far also.

I have a friend in Dallas that has had an e-bike for 8+ years and he guided me thru how to buy and build a nice bike. Thank you my friend!
It's a Front hub Phoenix II Brute Crystalyte kit w/4840 controller on a 26" Schwinn 8-speed beach cruiser from Walmart. I bought the kit from ElectricRider and they've also been really great to deal too! Mike is awesome!
I can't say enough good things about dealing with Ping. I have a 48V-15ah battery with the upgraded BMS and 5 amp charger ($717 including shipping). It's amazing how well this puppy runs. I weigh 230+ and the bike weighs 85 lbs and it will pull me without any problems and all. I plan to buy another battery once I find-out how far this one takes me and I get some more money :). I've gone 20 miles on a charge so far. I did get up to 34 mph one brief period, but averaged around 12 mph.
The only complaint I have is that there was no documentation or instructions on the battery or the charger. The first time I used it, I didn't realize the charger had a really small on/off button that blends with the back of the charger and I had to "assume" with the red light on the front, it was charging. It wasn't! I thought it funny the next morning there was no green light but "assumed" it had to be charged after so much time. It ran out of juice in that first 20 miles! Hopefully this didn't harm the battery. My friend explained to me that after the green light comes on, the led's will light and flash for awhile, equalizing the cells. it would have been nice to know this.
I would also like to see a hard shell case option for battery protection.
My friend says Ping is the best and that's good enough for me. I did have a few correspondences with Ping on making sure my connector on the 4840 Phoenix controller matched the battery (50A grey Anderson connector). He was very responsive...
In exactly two weeks my battery was delivered!
Happy so far! Thanks Ping!

Battery was shipped within time frame.
Battery is working well, All cells are lighting up on the BMS as expected.
This battery is being used on an EZee geared motor 500-1000W and a 25A controller, daily total commute of 16km's.
Things I would like to see from Ping to get 5 stars:
I would pay extra for the following.
-Choice of Connector for the voltage terminals
-Hard shelled protective case.
I've burned through two Ezee packs Sony Cells LiMn 48V 10ah packs in 2 years, I will report back with the Ping results.

I just bought another Ping battery (36V 10A).
This makes 5 in my family and all perform Flawlessly.
My battery I bought in 2011 a (48V 15A)and it performs it's daily task of taking to and from work every day weather permits.
My run to and from work is 25km each way, I cruse @ 45 km, up any hill @ 41 km, downhill your in the 50ths.
My cruising speed of 45 km eats 700 to 800 WHR of power and my Ping is always there.
Customer support from Ping simply does not get better anywhere, he is closer to a friend.
Their are simply no challengers.
Five is all I can give but Ping is a TEN.

After combing through multiple blogs and reviews for a good quality ebike battery, I finally decided on Ping. There were two reasons. a) They were said to have great customer service so I figured if anything went wrong, I could contract them and b) They are supposed to be a very high-quality product. Very true on both accounts.
The battery is made with great quality lipo cells. The BMS works fine and I've checked it with multimeters. I've placed the whole battery in an axiom truck bag for extra protection - these aren't the types of batteries you can drop without expecting damage. I've put the battery through its paces. The cells are nicely balanced after only 2 x 3 km rides and charging in between. In short, the battery is great and delivery constant reliable power.
Now, the customer service - I was a little cautious considering the money I was spending (it was a big battery). The customer service has been fantastic - probably one of the best experiences I have had. Any questions and follow up questions I had were answered very quickly and they were great people to email back and forth with. My tracking number didn't update at some stage and the team at Ping were on its and had given me the new tracking details in under 20 minutes.
The delivery from placing the order (including build time) to arriving at my door was less than two weeks. Thats pretty cool.
Great work guys!

I purchased this Battery pack from watching a recomendation on You Tube about buildindg my bike. So I decided to take a chance with Ping Battery Company in China...never before ordering anything from outside the U.S. I was really surprized on how fast to receive my order and how accurate every attention to detail this company provides. The battpak I ordered is OUTSTANDING in PERFORMANCE and RELIABILITY and I have a good solid feeling with this company so far they are doing great by my standards and I do recommend them to others who are considering this product..I give them 5 stars for quality and performance

I am really enjoying this thing. I have "broken it in" and it gives me a solid 15-20 miles (24-32 Km) of flooring it everywhere I go without pedaling. I am 225 lbs (102 Kg) and my bike is 85 pounds (39Kg). I don't use regenerative braking at the moment either. I got the high rate BMS and 5 Amp charger with it. I love the max of 3 hours to charge the thing fully. All around great battery. many on the internet agree. Ping you make a good product! My next project will probably have a ping battery as well. One thing to note is these are the best price on LiFePO4 batteries anywhere. This size and voltage of battery costs at least $1000 anywhere else. (with shipping, the high rate BMS and charger it was about $700 US)
