I converted a new KMX 2020 Trike with Nuvinchi IGH, to a Cyclone Drive System. I purchased the Ping 36 Volt 30 Amp-hour battery system, which is 2 packs. I Mounted on an aluminum skid plate under the trike seat. The battery system does exactly what it was advertised to do, and allows me to Zing ( rapidly) up these steep 16% ( very steep) grade hills where I live. The BMS Battery Management System equalizes the cells during each charge operation , and ensures that each of the cells is balanced. You will see the BMS LEDs (12 each) light up to indicate that each cell group is balanced- at the end of the charge cycle. This system sees discharge currents to approximately 40 amperes and I can detect zero heating of the battery packs and IMHO these are a quality battery power source for your ebike, etrike adventures. These are based on a prismatic cell stack about the size of a slice of bread for each cell. The larger cells- used in the PING packs- deliver the huge current capabilities required for climbing steep hills- without the many parallel cells required in some of the 18650 cell based batteries. Check out the Ping battery site. If you have requirements for longer cables, a long distance between the connectors ( if you are mounting in saddle pannier bags for instance) :Tell Ping what you need and how long the cables should be.
